well being and relationships. New and more adaptive
coping mechanisms are developed to reduce conflict
and stress. Strategies are designed to help clients
negotiate more effectively at home , school and in
the workplace.

Finkelstein, LCSW
Irv Finkelstein is a
psychotherapist with over twenty years of experience
assisting individuals, families couples and groups.
He received a Masters of Social Work degree from Hunter
School of Social Work in 1978. He has worked extensively
in the areas of Developmental Disabilities, Attention
Deficit Disorder and Substance Abuse Treatment. Mr.
Finkelstein has contributed to numerous publications
and has been a frequent speaker to parent, school,
and professional organizations. He maintains a full-time
private practice in Westfield, NJ, and continues to
provide workshops and trainings for parents and professionals.
